Biography
Roxann Dawson (née Caballero), born on September 11, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, producer, and director. She is best known for her role as B'Elanna Torres on the television series Star Trek: Voyager. Dawson graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1980 with a major in Theater Arts. Her early career included performing in the Broadway production of "A Chorus Line" and various theater productions. In addition to her iconic television role, she appeared in series such as Baywatch, Matlock, and Any Day Now, as well as numerous television movies. Dawson made her directorial debut on Star Trek: Voyager and has directed episodes of other series, including Star Trek: Enterprise and Charmed. She has co-written a trilogy titled "Tenebrea." Dawson is married to Eric Dawson and resides in Los Angeles with their children.
