Samanta Togni

Biography

Samanta Togni, born on April 21, 1981, in Italy, is a prominent dancer and television personality. The daughter of dancers Sandro Togni and Loredana Camilli, she gained early recognition by winning the Blackpool Dance Festival at age thirteen. Throughout her career, Togni has achieved notable successes in various dance competitions, including winning the Miami Open Under 21 and being a finalist in prestigious events like the Rising Star UK. In 2005, she participated in the first edition of "Dancing with the Stars," finishing fifth alongside television host Fabrizio Frizzi. Togni has since appeared in twelve editions of the show and won the eleventh season partnered with actor Iago García. She has also hosted the Castrocaro Festival and co-hosts "I fatti vostri." Togni has been in several relationships, including a marriage with Mirko Trappetti, and is currently in a relationship with surgeon Mario Russo, whom she married in 2020.
