Sandra Hess

Biography

Sandra Hess, born on March 27, 1968, is a Swiss actress recognized for her contributions to film and television. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Sonya Blade in the 1997 film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and as Lieutenant Alexandra 'Ice' Jensen in the series Pensacola: Wings of Gold. Hess began her career in modeling and television commercials at age 15. After high school, she pursued law at the University of Zurich but later moved to the United States to focus on acting. Her early film roles include a cave-woman in Encino Man (1992) and the character Reagan Cole in Highlander: The Series. Hess has also appeared in Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2009, she married actor Michael Trucco, with whom she shared a role in Pensacola: Wings of Gold.
