Tessa Gelisio
Biography
Tessa Gelisio, born on May 6, 1977, in Alghero, Italy, is a television presenter, blogger, and environmentalist. She grew up in Rosignano Marittimo and began her career as an activist in various environmental organizations. Gelisio made her television debut in 2001 on Telemontecarlo with the marine-focused program Blu & Blu. She later worked on LA7’s Oasis and collaborated on Rai 1’s Sereno variabile. In 2003, she joined Mediaset, where she hosted Pianeta Mare and Solaris, among other programs. Gelisio has also presented significant events, such as the Christmas Concert 2007 and a tribute to Luciano Pavarotti. She has been involved in environmental activism since her youth, founding the non-profit organization forPlanet Onlus in 2004. In 2019, she published the book "100 Green Jobs to find a job" and received the "Top Italian green influencer" award in the Lifestyle category.
