The Wanted are a British-Irish pop boy band formed in 2009, consisting of members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes. Based in London, they gained fame with their debut single "All Time Low," which topped the UK Singles Chart in August 2010. Their self-titled debut album was released on October 25, 2010, reaching number 4 in the UK charts. The band was assembled through auditions conducted by Jayne Collins, who previously formed The Saturdays. They collaborated with producers such as Guy Chambers and Steve Mac on their music. The Wanted released several successful singles, including "Gold Forever" and "Glad You Came," and participated in various television appearances and tours. In November 2010, they signed a record deal with Def Jam to expand their reach in the United States. The group has since continued to evolve their sound and maintain their presence in the music industry.
