Antonio Ramiro "Tony" Romo, born on April 21, 1980, is a former professional American football quarterback who played for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Over his career, Romo achieved a passer rating of 96.9, ranking him second all-time in the league. He did not see regular season play from 2003 to 2005, but he became the starting quarterback in 2006 after replacing Drew Bledsoe during a game against the New York Giants. Known for his leadership and playmaking ability, Romo became a key figure for the Cowboys and earned multiple Pro Bowl selections.
