Vikki Dougan, born in 1929, is an American model and actress known for her striking appearances in daring low-cut backless dresses during the 1950s. Dougan began her modeling career at the age of eleven and later transitioned to acting, making her film debut in "Back from Eternity" as an uncredited showgirl. She appeared in a total of ten films, often in minor roles. In 1953, publicity strategist Milton Weiss promoted Dougan's unique style to contrast with contemporaries like Jayne Mansfield, leading to significant media attention. She was featured on the cover of Life Magazine in October 1953 and appeared in Playboy magazine in 1957 and 1962. Dougan's influence extended to popular culture, inspiring a song by The Limeliters in 1961. In 1964, she was involved in a legal dispute over unauthorized nude photographs published by Cavalier magazine. Dougan dated several prominent Hollywood figures throughout the 1960s.
