Alphonse "Al" Capone was an Italian-American mob boss who became a prominent figure during the Prohibition era in the United States. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Capone was involved in organized crime from a young age, eventually rising to power in Chicago. He became notorious for his involvement in illegal activities, including bootlegging, gambling, and racketeering.
