Biography

Bunny Yeager, born Linnea Eleanor Yeager on March 13, 1930, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, was a prominent American pin-up model and photographer. She grew up in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, before moving to Miami, Florida, where she attended Miami Edison High School. Yeager gained recognition in the late 1940s by winning beauty pageants, including being crowned Miami Sports Queen in 1949. After studying fashion modeling, she became a successful glamor model featured in numerous swimsuit magazines. In the early 1950s, Yeager transitioned to photography, earning the title of "Prettiest Photographer in the World" from US Camera magazine in 1953. She is noted for her iconic photographs of Bettie Page, which contributed to Page's legendary status. Yeager's work also includes images of Ursula Andress in "Dr. No," and she appeared in various films and documentaries. Bunny Yeager passed away at the age of 85 due to heart failure.
