Chae-Yeon Jung

Biography

Jung Chae-yeon, known mononymously as Chaeyeon, is a South Korean singer and actress born on December 1, 1997, in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. She is recognized for her role as a member of the girl group DIA and for finishing 7th in the survival show Produce 101, leading to her inclusion in the project group I.O.I. Chaeyeon graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul in 2016. She debuted with DIA in September 2015 with the album Do It Amazing. After participating in Produce 101, she returned to DIA and became involved in various acting projects, including her debut in the drama Drinking Solo in 2016. Chaeyeon has since appeared in several television dramas and films, including Marry Me Now and My First First Love, while also taking on roles in variety shows and modeling.
