Connie Stevens, born Concetta Anna Ingolia, is an American singer and actress of Italian and Native American descent. Raised in Brooklyn by her grandparents after her parents, both jazz musicians, divorced, she attended Catholic boarding schools during her formative years. Stevens developed a passion for music early on, leading her to form a vocal quartet called "The Foremost," which included three men who later became members of The Lettermen. She moved to Hollywood in 1953, where she established another vocal group, "The Three Debs," while pursuing opportunities in film as an extra. Stevens' career has spanned several decades, encompassing music and acting, and she is recognized for her contributions to the entertainment industry.
