Biography

Kim Min-jun, known by his stage name Jun. K, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor, best recognized as the main vocalist of the boy band 2PM. He was born in Daegu, South Korea, and attended DongA School for the Arts, majoring in broadcasting and entertainment. Jun. K initially entered the music industry by winning various poetry and songwriting contests before auditioning for YG Entertainment, where he formed friendships with G-Dragon and Taeyang of Big Bang. He ultimately signed with JYP Entertainment. In 2012, he announced a name change to Min-jun for personal reasons, while retaining his stage name. In addition to his group activities, Jun. K has released two digital singles in South Korea and two extended plays in Japan, achieving significant chart success, including a number one ranking on Billboard Japan's album sales charts with his second Japanese solo album, "Love Letter." He is currently enrolled at Kyunghee University's Media Information Graduate School.
