Nolan Gerard Funk

Biography

Nolan Gerard Funk was born on July 28, 1986, in Canada. He is a versatile actor and former national gymnast and diver, fluent in French and German. Funk gained prominence with his starring role in the 2009 Nickelodeon film Spectacular!, alongside Victoria Justice. He made his Broadway debut in 2009/2010 as Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, earning critical acclaim from The New Yorker and The New York Times. His film credits include La casa al final de la calle (2012), where he appeared with Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue, and Evidence, opposite Stephen Moyer. Funk also starred in the ABC Family pilot Intercept in 2012 and was reported by Variety to be cast alongside Vin Diesel in the Untitled Chronicles of Riddick Sequel. Additionally, he appeared in Wildlike and in Paul Schrader's The Canyons, featuring Lindsay Lohan. He is currently single.
