Olivia Hallinan, born on 20 January 1985 in Twickenham, United Kingdom, is an accomplished English actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Laura Timmins in the BBC series Lark Rise to Candleford and for her role as Kim in the acclaimed Channel 4 series Sugar Rush. Hallinan began her acting career at a young age, training at her mother's drama school and later studying English and Drama at the University of Manchester. She has appeared in over 100 productions across theatre, television, and radio, including notable roles in The Bill, Holby City, and Torchwood. Hallinan made her feature film debut in 2011 with Jack Falls. She has also performed in various theatre productions, such as Precious Little Talent and Herding Cats. Throughout her career, Hallinan has been actively involved in student drama and has participated in events like the Stonewall Gay Youth Conference.
