Biography
Cha Tae-hyun, born on 25 March 1976 in South Korea, is a prominent actor known for his work in television and film. He began his career by winning a silver medal in the 1995 KBS Talent Contest. Following this, he gained popularity through various television dramas, including Sunflower and Happy Together, and was a radio DJ for KBS Cool FM from 1999 to 2000. Cha made his film debut in the comedy Hallelujah but rose to fame in 2001 with the romantic comedy My Sassy Girl, co-starring Jeon Ji-hyun. This role solidified his status as a leading actor in Korea and East Asia. Cha is currently married and resides in South Korea.
