Taec-Yeon Ok

Biography

Taec-Yeon Ok, born on December 27, 1988, in Busan, South Korea, is a multifaceted South Korean actor, rapper, singer, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the main rapper of the boy band 2PM. Taecyeon began his acting career in 2010 with a role in the drama "Cinderella's Sister" and gained further recognition for his performance in "Dream High." At the age of 10, he immigrated to Bedford, Massachusetts, where he lived for seven years and attended Bedford High School, participating in various extracurricular activities. He later returned to South Korea to pursue his entertainment career. Taecyeon completed his education at Gel In High School in Seoul and studied Business Administration at Dankook University. He is currently enrolled at Korea University Graduate School of International Studies. Fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese, he also incorporates the Busan dialect in his performances.
