Biography

Tyler Gregory Okonma, born March 6, 1991, is an American rapper, record producer, and music video director, widely known by his stage name Tyler, The Creator. He gained fame as the leader and co-founder of the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future, contributing to nearly all of the group's releases both as a rapper and producer. His debut album, Goblin, was released in April 2011 under XL Recordings, followed by his second studio album, Wolf, which debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200. In addition to his music career, Okonma founded his clothing brand, Golf Wang, in 2011, and has hosted the annual carnival Camp Flog Gnaw since 2012. He also operates Golf Media, a streaming service featuring original content, including the Camp Flog Gnaw festival.
