Biography
Accept is a German heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Solingen, though its origins date back to the late 1960s with vocalist Udo Dirkschneider's earlier band, Band X. The group is recognized for its significant contributions to the development of speed metal and Teutonic thrash metal. Accept gained international acclaim with their 1983 album, Balls to the Wall, which includes the iconic title track. Over the years, the band has released thirteen studio albums, three live albums, six compilation albums, two EPs, and two video albums, establishing a lasting legacy in the heavy metal genre. Accept continues to influence musicians and fans worldwide.
