Biography
Melody Thornton is an American singer-songwriter known for her vocal talent. She graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2003. Thornton has a diverse heritage, with a Mexican mother, Elia, and an African American father, Theolph Thornton. She also has an older sister, Nichole Thornton. Her singing abilities were first recognized during a talent show at Papago Elementary School, where she performed Mariah Carey's rendition of Badfinger's "Without You." Thornton's early exposure to music and performance laid the groundwork for her future career in the entertainment industry.
