Biography
Sterling Holloway was an American actor known for his extensive work in film and television, appearing in over 100 films and 40 television shows. He is particularly recognized for his voice roles with The Walt Disney Company, notably as Mr. Stork in "Dumbo," Kaa in "The Jungle Book," and the title character in "Winnie the Pooh." In 1942, Holloway enlisted in the United States Army, where he was assigned to Special Services. He contributed to the development of a show called "Hey Rookie," which ran for nine months and raised $350,000 for the Army Relief Fund. Holloway's notable film appearances include a role as a medic in the 1945 critically acclaimed film "A Walk in the Sun." His career spanned several decades, showcasing his versatility as both a live-action actor and a voice artist.
